KASHMIRIS DRESSES

The most popular outfit of females in Jammu and Kashmir is the phiranPhiran are long, loose dresses that cover their body. These dresses are designed with colourful flower elements and styles. Where as a Islamic lady would wear a pheran that is knee-length, loose and stitched at the front side and on the finishes, a Hindu ladies use their pherans long, extending up to their legs with simplified down fleshlight sleeves. Phirans are tied at the waist with collapsed content known as lhungi. The Hindu females use a “taranga”, a headdress, padded to a revoked cap and it becomes smaller down at the back, towards the heels. On the other hand, Islamic Kashmiri females use a red headwear known as the “kasaba”. The kasaba is padded by means of a turban and is pinned together by brooches. A pin-scarf  revoked from the kasaba descends towards the neck. Intricate embroideries or flower styles are a popular function of aKashmiri ladies pheran. These days phirans are used by females of other areas of Native indian as well.
Kashmiri dresses
Kashmiri women are among the most beautiful in India. They have "an English rosiness of complexion behind the Eastern tan". The colour of their hair ranges from golden red to brunette and that of eyes from green, blue, grey to black. Besides being boats-women and farmers, the women of Kashmir lend a hand to their men-folk at shawl making, embroidery and other handicrafts.
